When Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston parted ways, the entire world fell into a hush. Fans experienced profound devastation from the collapsed romance, yet they displayed equal eagerness and excitement to observe the development of the on-screen connection between the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star and actress Angelina Jolie in actual life.
Brad and Angelina formed a couple over time.
The pair ended their relationship years afterward, with Jolie initiating divorce proceedings in 2016, soon following reports of a supposed incident that involved Pitt and the couple’s eldest son Maddox aboard the family’s private aircraft.
Details remain unknown to everyone about the true events, though authorities from the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services examined the reported child abuse claims, and Pitt received clearance from any child abuse accusations in a swift manner, according to US Weekly.
The divorce along with the extended custody dispute between Pitt and Jolie stands out as one of the most contentious among celebrity pairs in recent memory.

Jolie sent an email to her former husband on January 21, 2021, and that correspondence entered the public domain. Within the message, she expressed writing “with a heavy heart,” notifying Pitt about her choice to sell Miraval, “a business that is centered around alcohol.” Numerous individuals interpret this statement as an allusion to the previously noted plane episode, where Pitt supposedly choked Maddox before pouring alcohol over her and the children.
The Maleficent star continued in her writing, “Even now impossible to write this without crying.
“Above all, it is the place we brought the twins home to, and where we were married over a plaque in my mother’s memory. A place…where I thought I would grow old…. But it is also the place that marks the beginning of the end of our family.
“Miraval for me died September 2016,” she added, “and everything I have seen in the years since has sadly confirmed that.”
Pitt consented to compensate Jolie with $54.5 million in February 2021 to acquire her share in Miraval. The transaction encountered complications due to their continuing divorce process.
She presented sealed documents containing details about the plane incident, prompting Pitt to request that Jolie agree to an NDA preventing her from “discussing outside of court any of Pitt’s personal conduct toward her or the family” in exchange for the property sale.
Jolie described the demand as an “unconscionable gag order.”
Pitt presented his request as essential for completing the sale, aiming to “ensure the seller doesn’t damage the value of the asset after being paid for it.”
Jolie transferred Nouvel, the holding company managing her share of Miraval, to Tenute del Mondo, the wine division of the Stoli group under the control of Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler, on October 5, 2021, for $67 million.
“She chose to sell her interest in Miraval to an adversarial party, and part of the family home to a stranger, immediately following a judge granting Brad a significant victory: 50-50 custody,” a source near Pitt told ET Online. Judge John Ouderkirk, who had granted Pitt joint custody, faced removal from the case later by a panel of three judges, resulting in the vacation of his decision.
Pitt launched a lawsuit in February 2022 against his former spouse, her holding company, and the new Miraval owners, asserting that Jolie had “contributed nothing to Miraval’s success.” Stoli responded with a cross-complaint “for the illegal and malicious actions of Pitt and his allies to injure Nouvel by devaluing its investments and depriving it of its proper role in the management of Chateau Miraval, the world-famous producer of rosé wine.”
Pitt submitted an amended complaint on June 1, 2023, seeking to undo Jolie’s sale of Nouvel.
“Brad has owned everything he’s responsible for from day one, but he’s not going to own anything he didn’t do,” stated Anne Kiley, who represents Pitt.

Pitt advanced forward after the turmoil of their divorce and began dating another person.
“Brad exercises great care and intention in selecting who he dates. He prefers to ease into relationships and allow them to develop naturally,” a source mentioned.
Reports indicate that Pitt’s current girlfriend is Ines de Ramon, previously married to Paul Wesley known from Vampire Diaries. Individuals near the couple describe them as “happy being low-key.”
“Brad and Ines continue seeing each other and enjoying their time. They appreciate each other’s company and share similar interests. They both possess creativity, enjoy travel, and remain content with a low-key approach. Their situation remains positive, though Brad avoids rushing matters,” the source explained.
Entertainment Tonight reported that the couple appeared together in public in December 2022. “It remains early, but they explore possibilities and feel mutual affection,” a source disclosed then. “They share enjoyable moments together.”
The pair spent a vacation in Mexico as a duo.
Confirmation lacks regarding whether he has introduced her to his children, yet those close to him note that she stays present in the room during his conversations with the kids.
Observers noticed Ines wearing a charm necklace featuring the letter B, and verification remains absent on whether it honors her new partner.
