Expert Claims Donald and Melania Trump Show Signs of Being “Out of Sync”

The presidential inauguration inevitably sparked various controversial stories, as expected during such a monumental event in U.S. history. On January 20, all eyes turned to Capitol Hill as Donald Trump was sworn in for his second term as President of the United States.

Amidst the speculation and viral moments circulating online, one particular instance involving Melania and Donald Trump became a focal point of attention. The First Lady appeared to “turn her face” away from her husband when he attempted to kiss her during the inauguration.

Before delivering his significant inaugural speech, which followed his oath of office, Trump and Melania attended the traditional church service that signals the start of the inauguration and marks the official end of the previous administration.

In what would have been a rare display of public affection, Trump leaned in as if to kiss Melania for the cameras. However, Melania, wearing a striking hat that concealed much of her face, seemed to turn her head away, rendering the attempt unsuccessful. The moment quickly ignited online discussions, with some speculating whether the move was intentional or merely coincidental.

Body language expert Judi James weighed in on the incident, sharing her interpretation of the “dodge.” Speaking to Paddy Power, James noted that Donald Trump exuded a “slow alpha presence” upon arrival, accompanied by a “mouth shrug smile” that conveyed a serious and solemn demeanor. She observed that Trump “gently” took Melania’s hand in a gesture reminiscent of a romantic wedding moment.

Describing the incident, James explained: “He then leaned in to plant a kiss on his wife, and for a moment, it seemed like he aimed for a lip-to-lip kiss. Melania leaned toward her husband in response but turned her face, initiating a cheek kiss rather than a mouth kiss.”

James described it as a “heart-stopping moment” that could suggest a lack of synchronicity between the couple.

Online reactions to Melania’s outfit also added fuel to the fire, with some critics likening her appearance to a “mob wife at a funeral” and labeling her style as “Dark MAGA.” She wore a high-necked dress and a dark boater hat that cast shadows over her face, adding to the dramatic look.

Rumors also swirled about Melania’s plans during Trump’s second term. Reports suggested she might not reside full-time in the White House, opting instead to split her time between Washington, D.C., and New York, where their son, Barron, is currently attending school.

As for Trump, his inauguration speech was filled with ambitious promises, many of which were as bold as anticipated. Among his declarations, Trump vowed to launch the largest deportation program in U.S. history, stating, “I will rescue every city and town that has been invaded and conquered, and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail, then kick them the hell out of our country as fast as possible.”

He also pledged to investigate pardons for individuals involved in the January 6, 2021, Capitol riots and to declassify secret government documents related to events like the assassinations of JFK and Martin Luther King Jr.

Additionally, Trump voiced his desire to abolish birthright citizenship and announced plans to cut federal funding for schools teaching what he described as “inappropriate” topics. “I will sign a new executive order on Day 1 to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity,” he declared, according to NPR.
