Mark Epstein, brother of Jeffrey Epstein, has stepped forward with another bold assertion regarding President Donald Trump and the long-withheld files connected to his late brother — this time centering on Trump’s dramatic shift toward demanding full public disclosure of the documents.
Mark Epstein believes a deliberate and calculated motive explains why Trump has now reversed his earlier stance and actively pushed for complete transparency.
Mark Epstein continues to speak openly about his brother Jeffrey and Donald Trump In recent weeks, Mark Epstein has appeared frequently in media coverage, primarily due to a highly charged email that surfaced involving his deceased brother Jeffrey, President Donald Trump, and former President Bill Clinton. Although he has attempted to separate himself from some of the more explosive interpretations of that correspondence — occasionally showing visible irritation — the topic continues to draw him back into public discussion. The renewed attention stems from the federal government’s announcement that the Epstein-related files will finally see daylight, offering the possibility of answers for the public and long-sought resolution for the victims.
Mark Epstein, however, views the impending release through a different lens.
He maintains that the documents are currently undergoing careful editing in a secure location, with the specific goal of protecting certain prominent individuals by removing their names.
What explains Donald Trump’s rapid change of position on the files? Only a short time ago, President Trump and members of his administration described calls for the release of these materials as unfounded speculation and an unnecessary diversion from pressing national priorities. Today, the president openly supports making the files available to the public.
Mark Epstein numbers among those who question whether every party involved approaches this process with full honesty. He has raised the possibility that selective alterations are occurring behind the scenes.
In an interview with NewsNation, Mark Epstein stated: “Sources have informed me why the documents are moving toward release now and why the sudden reversal has taken place — the files are being carefully reviewed and cleaned.”
He went further, naming FBI Director Kash Patel as part of the effort and asserting that reliable information places the work at a specific site.
Epstein continued: “A facility exists in Winchester, Virginia, where personnel are examining the records and removing references to certain Republican figures. That information came to me from a highly credible source.”
At present, these allegations rest solely on Mark Epstein’s account, without independent verification available to the public. Nonetheless, questions surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s relationships with powerful figures, including Donald Trump, remain active topics of discussion.
Mark Epstein has previously declared that his brother possessed compromising information about the president, though he has stopped short of revealing details.
“He never shared the specifics with me, but Jeffrey unquestionably held material on Trump,” Mark Epstein has said. “Anyone who examines the email exchanges can see the pattern — President Trump may dispute the connections as much as he wishes, yet the record speaks clearly on its own.”
President Trump has consistently maintained that he shared no deep or lasting friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, who passed away in federal custody in 2019.
