An emotional letter from Olivia Lynes’s mother to “Britain’s Got Talent” judge Amanda Holden catapulted the eleven-year-old singer to fame on the show. In the letter, Olivia’s mother expressed that her daughter deserved a shot at stardom due to her remarkable voice.

Despite her nervousness, Olivia stepped onto the stage to perform Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth’s hit song, ‘Defying Gravity.’ Her mom, already distraught, began crying even before Olivia started singing.
