Carol Vorderman, 62, recently celebrated 40 years in television, boasting over 10,000 appearances on shows like the British game show Countdown, the breakfast program Lorraine, The Great Celebrity Bake Off, and ITV’s This Morning.

Beyond her stunning looks, Vorderman is also recognized for her intellect.

In 2014, the mother of two earned her private pilot’s license, and the following year, she joined NASA’s Challenger Center for Space Science Education, encouraging children to explore space science.

When she’s not captivating audiences on TV, the former host of Have I Got News for You maintains a disciplined workout routine to stay in top shape.

“Women in their 60s weren’t brought up to exercise… As you get older, you need to do weight-bearing exercises, stretch, and squat. If you don’t, even for a couple of weeks, you start feeling it,” Vorderman shared in an interview with HELLO! “Working in a visual industry means paying more attention to your appearance, as many women in my position do.”

Recently, Vorderman shared images from her gym sessions, where she showcased her toned figure in a sleek grey crop top and form-fitting leggings.

She captioned the post, “Five gym sessions this week. It feels great to get back into the routine—eating clean, staying hydrated, walking, and enjoying fresh air… this is my happy place.”

The photos captured Vorderman lifting weights and performing exercises that highlighted her impressive physique.

Fans quickly flooded the comments with compliments, with one calling her “a fountain of youth,” and another simply stating, “Supervorders.”

Others added playful comments, like “I don’t think I could keep up with you, but I’d like to try,” and “I need to watch that technique again!”

Her post follows a recent playful jab from Dermot O’Leary, who co-hosts This Morning with Vorderman.

O’Leary, 50, took a light-hearted dig at Vorderman’s personal life, referencing her long-term, no-strings-attached relationships with several men she affectionately calls her “special friends.”

During a segment where viewers were invited to call in and speak with an astrologer, one woman—admitting to dating three men—asked for advice on her “love square.”

Giggling, O’Leary’s co-host Alison Hammond asked, “Did you say love square?”

Dermot chimed in, “You wouldn’t be Carol Vorderman, would you?”

Vorderman, known for her candidness, has openly discussed her personal life, sharing that she enjoys the independence of being single.

Since her split from journalist Des Kelly in 2007, Vorderman—who was previously married to Christopher Mather (1985-1986) and the father of her two children, Patrick King (1990-2000)—has embraced her freedom and the unique relationships she maintains.

“I don’t want to marry again or live with a man. This is a time to break the taboo that one person should satisfy everything in life,” she explained.

Vorderman emphasized that her relationships with her “special friends” are based on honesty, with her children, Katie (31) and Cameron (25), knowing most of them.

Proving her fun-loving spirit, Vorderman recently posted a video of herself lip-syncing and dancing to the song “It’s Raining Men,” delighting her fans.

Her followers praised her moves, with comments like “Carol, that’s absolutely brilliant!” and “Bloody gorgeous woman.”

Carol Vorderman continues to inspire with her dedication to fitness and her authentic approach to life and relationships.
